Master's degree is a second-level academic higher education program of the university faculty, which contains elements of scientific research and aims to train a specialist and/or researcher at the post-bachelor level, as well as prepares a person for work with the obtained qualifications.

The goals of studying at the master's degree are to prepare for scientific-research work and pedagogic work in a higher educational institution, to raise qualifications, to change specializations, and with a higher level of professional training at the first level of higher education, with relatively deep assimilation of the theoretical aspects of study disciplines and scientific research programs, to prepare a person for further studies in a doctorate. .

The objectives of the master's degree are to create a student-oriented learning environment, to integrate it into the European educational space, and to develop academic programs designed for employer requirements and to prepare students for professional activities.

A person with at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree has the right to study at the master's degree.

The procedure for admission, study and awarding of the academic degree of the master's degree of the faculty of the university is determined by the normative acts of the state of Georgia and the university's charter.

The title of the qualification awarded upon completion of the master's degree program of the university faculty includes the term "master's" with reference to the relevant field, field/specialty and/or subfield/specialization. A student is considered to have completed the Master's program if he has accumulated the credits provided for in the educational program and has been awarded the Master's academic degree in accordance with the established procedure.
